As a part of the Atlantic Antic's 2015 Theme, "The Youth are our Future", WMA Karate will be having a demonstration on the Main Stage at 125 Atlantic Avenue at 3pm (in front of Key Food). We'll have a short demonstration with music featuring our amazing Children's Program students.

We are very excited to announce the studio is open for the new academic year starting today, September 8! Check out our calendar for the schedule, we'll be updating it in the next few days as well. We hope you've had a great summer, and we look forward to training with you again soon.
Due to our annual Tae Kwon Do in the Mountains retreat, the Atlantic Avenue Studio will be closed from Sunday August 9th through Sunday August 16th. Our normal Summer schedule will resume on Monday, August 17th.
At Tae Kwon Do in the Mountains, we train with the headmaster every day, running up and down the Catskill Mountains, and talking about the philosophy of martial arts. The upper belts also lend their expertise during workshops on subjects as diverse as science, mythology, and exercise physiology. We also go swimming, hiking, kayaking, and much more. Due to the annual Midwest Demonstration and Promotion test we are announcing a modified schedule:
We are also pleased to announce our make-up test at the Headquarters on Wednesday, June 17. The test will immediately follow the practice, which starts at 7:30pm at 8101 Ridge Blvd, Brooklyn. All students are welcome to come participate in the practice and support the students who could not make our year-end exam at the Trevor Day School.

The Spring National Tournament is upon us in only a few short days. The event will take place at the Bay Ridge Prep Lower School at 8101 Ridge Boulevard in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on Saturday, May 2. Doors open at 11:30, the event will start at noon. You can register online and save $15 – even if you don't pay online! The tournament is always a great opportunity to meet other practitioners and just have fun.
