We are excited to announce the following upcoming events:

• Black Belt Winter Camp – February 12-14, Gilboa NY. All Black Belts are welcome to join us on our annual winter trip to the cabin to practice with the headmaster and the other black belts in the challenging climate of the Catskills in the winter. Reply to this email if you are interested in joining us.
• Children's Tournament and Junior Black Belt Test – March 12, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. All students 16 years old and younger are invited to compete, and adult black belts are invited to help run and judge the tournament. Registration link coming soon.
• Martial Arts Seasonal Intensive – Summer, Atlantic Ave. Studio. We wanted to get the word out early that we're running our very popular MASI program again this year. Registration link and specific dates coming soon.
• Tae Kwon Do in the Mountains 2016 – August 6-14, Gilboa NY. Our annual week-long retreat to the Catskill Mountains has been scheduled. Reach out if you're interested in joining us practicing this timeless art in the ancient mountain forest of Gilboa. Reply to this message if you're interested in joining us.

Atlantic Avenue Studio closed 8/9-8/16

Due to our annual Tae Kwon Do in the Mountains retreat, the Atlantic Avenue Studio will be closed from Sunday August 9th through Sunday August 16th. Our normal Summer schedule will resume on Monday, August 17th.

At Tae Kwon Do in the Mountains, we train with the headmaster every day, running up and down the Catskill Mountains, and talking about the philosophy of martial arts. The upper belts also lend their expertise during workshops on subjects as diverse as science, mythology, and exercise physiology. We also go swimming, hiking, kayaking, and much more. Stay tuned for updates from us on social media.

We are excited to announce the WMAA National Children's Tournament on March 7. Here are the details:

Bay Ridge Prep Middle School Gymnasium

8101 Ridge Blvd, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn NY

Doors open at 11:30a, event starts at noon

Register early to save $15. A small spectator's fee will be collected at the door for non-participants.
