"...practicing Tae Kwon Do means trying to achieve your personal best in a warm, supportive atmosphere. It means continually striving to do better and to bring more spirit, focus, power and speed to your movements. It means bringing mind, spirit and body into harmony. It means respect for your colleagues and for their accomplishments."

"I really enjoyed the week in class. I feel that Tae Kwon Do is something that would be of interest to me and a lot of fun at the same time. I am pleased with the way that you teach the classes. I do not feel intimidated or pressured trying to remember the movements and the other students are very helpful and patient as well."

“Howard is very experienced in teaching, and is super friendly! The studio is quite peaceful. I take tai chi and TKD there, and the first month is free! Small/private classes [are] offered for personal attention as well. There is much more offered here like shuai jiao, karate birthday parties and summer day camp for the kids. Will be back again!”

“I have been taking Karate since I was in the fifth grade. I began as a white belt, and have progressed through several belt levels to a black belt, the level I am at now. The idea of developing skills through collaboration is also manifested through the way forms are often taught. In addition to time spent actually learning from the teacher, lower-level students will often spend time rehearsing their forms with higher-level students. As a black belt, I will often be asked to help teach a lower-belt their forms. In addition to helping the newer students learn more quickly, this helps to bring us closer together, and build a sense of community…

I enjoyed this experience immensely. I feel closer to the rest of the Tae Kwon Do community, and I am happy for the opportunity to give back to a group that has taught me so much…

My Saturday Tae Kwon Do class will be held on Zoom for the duration of the quarantine. The class has helped me to maintain a sense of normalcy, which has become important as it feels as though nothing will be quite the same, even after the quarantine has ended.
