MASI Summer 2019 Registration is Open!
Looking for a quality summer day program with invaluable activities for the summer? Registration is now open for our Martial Arts Seasonal Intensive! Practice Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Capoeira, Jiu Jitsu, and many more, including weapons training. The program runs from June 25 through July 26, and is available with the full four weeks, weekly, and even daily rates – including half-day rates. Starting the week of June 24th, and again for the 3 consecutive weeks of July 15th, July 22th, and July 29th, in addition to our regularly scheduled classes, WMA Karate and Mission Martial Arts are pleased to offer the Martial Arts Seasonal Intensive - Summer Program 2019. We are beginning to take registrations for Summer 2019 now and are offering Mission and WMA Karate students the first spots!

Utilizing TWO conveniently located studio spaces in Brooklyn and over 70 combined years of martial arts experience, the Martial Arts Summer Intensive Program will create a summer experience like no other. This program is not only great for children interested in trying martial arts for the first time, but a fun way to diversify learning for practicing students.
Week 1 - June 24 through June 27 @ Brooklyn Heights
Week 2 - July 15th through July 18th @ Red Hook
Week 3 - July 22nd through July 25th @ Brooklyn Heights
Week 4 - July 29th through August 1st @ Red Hook
The program features the following activities:
- Tae Kwon Do
- Tai Chi and Chinese internal arts
- Stretching
- Board Breaking
- Parkour
- Archery [ NEW! ]
- Specialized Technique Training i.e. Jumping, spinning and flying kicks
- Grappling Fundamentals
- Falling/Acrobatics
- Kobudo (traditional weapons training)
- Jiu-Jitsu
- Capoiera
- Judo
- Martial Arts Films
- And More!
Full day (9am-4pm), Monday - Thursday, ages 8-13:
$490 per week, with subsequent weeks $410.
Half day (9am-12pm),Monday - Thursday, ages 5-13:
$245 per week, with subsequent weeks $205.
Attendees should be dropped off at that week's camp location. Upon registration all attendees will be presented with a detailed schedule of the week’s activities and drop off/pick up locations. Parents will also be informed of any field trips children will be taking that week. Attendees will be required to bring their own packed lunch and snack.
